The first romances I picked up at a too young age were Harlequin. The standard, white covered Harlequin. At that time, if they kissed at the end of the book, you were lucky. I abandoned Harlequins in favor of NOVELS. I started reading Johanna Lindsay, LaVyrle Spencer and Rebecca Brandewyne.
Now, I am finding that I am reading the Harlequins again. They are a nice, quick read. Something to read between NOVELS or if I have been on hold for ten weeks for the book I wanted from the library.
