Taming of the Rake by Victoria Vale

This is the fourth book in The Gentleman Courtesans series by Victoria Vale.  Each book is written as a standalone, however, you should start with the first book so you

David Graham is a true lover of women.  He thoroughly enjoys being a Gentleman Courtesan.  When he has to return home after the death of his father he discovers a crumbling estate and a huge cash flow problem due to embezzlement.  Benedict offers him a contract with a widow close to his home.  Regina Hurst is a recent widow who had a miserable marriage.  When her husband was on his death bed, she wasn't even sure if she would even get her widows portion.  She hires a Courtesan so she can finally have a baby.

I loved the relationship between David and Regina.  It is wonderful when a rake finds his true love and falls hard.  The story is fast paced and the characters are real.  I like that the characters from previous books are incorporated.  It feels like you are meeting old friends.  This book is sizzling.

Vienna Bargain by Lila DuBois

I am sitting on the edge of my seat and can't put this book down!  It is scorching hot with characters that have a strong connection.  There are the crazy twists and turns that you know the author will give you.  You don't know what to expect next.

This book picks up where Vienna Betrayal ended.  Alena finally has gained access to intensely private billionaire Alexander Wagner and grabbed his attention.  When she is caught, she is offered to become his BDSM slave for three weeks or rot in a foreign prison.

I was reading this book almost holding my breath until the twist at the end when I gasped and screamed that I didn't have the next book so I could continue reading.

Vienna Betrayal by Lila DuBois

This is the first book in a trilogy, so be prepared it ends in a cliffhanger.

I loved the intrigue and suspense in this book.  It starts slow, but moves into hot and intense.  There is a chemistry between Alexander and Alena.  Alena has been attempting to draw Alexander's attention for reasons unknown to us.  Soon, the game she is playing becomes all too real.

I could not put this book down and can't wait for the next in the series.
