The Devilish Duke by Maddison Michaels

I liked this book.  The characters were great.  Devlin and Sophie were made for each other.  I liked the secondary characters.  The mystery was a good subplot.

Wolf's Mate by Celia Kyle

I haven't read one of Celia Kyle's books in a while.  I really enjoyed this one!  The characters were great.  I liked the bromance with Declan and the rest of his team.  I liked the interactions between Declan and Abby.  This is a book I highly recommend!

Sorry to say that this book fell flat for me and was a DNF.

The Dove by Victoria Vale

This book is the follow-up to The Villian.  I loved Adam in The Villian and loved him more in The Dove.  I loved Daphne's independence and resilience.  This is a book of flawed yet strong characters.  I liked the supporting characters of Niall and Olivia and hope they get their own HEA.  This was a great conclusion to the duology.

Alpha Unleashed by Kathy Lyons

I was hooked from the beginning when Alyssa shoots Simon while he is in bear form.  Alyssa is attempting to find Simon to help her brother Vic.  Alyssa brings Simon to Detroit to help figure out what is happening to Vic.  Simon has been in his bear form for ten months.  It takes a while for him to revert to being fully human.

This is the first book I have read by Kathy Lyons.  I loved her take on shifters living in the inner city and the virus.  While this book is part of a series, it reads very well as a stand-alone.

A Duke in the Night by Kelly Bowen

I love authors like Ms. Bowen because you are transported into the book.  Clara was an amazing heroine.  I loved her determination.  I liked how August's character has grown and matured.  He had survived poverty and unexpectedly became a Duke.  The book was well written and a delight from beginning to end!

The Italian Billionaire's Determined Lover by Leslie North

This was a great end to the series.  I enjoyed the book and the characters.  It was a great read from the beginning to the end.  I have loved the three books about the Romano brothers.

Italian Billionaire's Unexpected Lover by Leslie North

This is the second book in a wonderful series.  I love the setting and the characters.  I like how Luciana drops everything to care for her niece and will do anything for her.  I like how Gianpierre was blindsided by the love for both Luciana and her niece.  This was a great book with a great ending.

More or Less a Marchioness by Anna Bradley

I have never felt so mixed about a book than this one.  I floated between loving it one moment and the next I wanted to scream at the characters.  I didn't like how Phineas "won" the right to propose to Iris after he "lost" his first choice.  There were times in the book I hated how Phineas was treating Iris.  Throughout the entire book, I was rooting for Iris to find a man that loved her for herself.  Phineas kept flipping between Mr. Right and Mr. Big Jerk.
