This is the first book in the River Ranch series. I enjoyed Sam and Mia. They were likable and great characters. I liked that Mia had stood up to her father and did something that she wanted to do and enjoyed. Sam pulled himself up from nothing to a sought-after horse whisperer. Mia's father hired Sam to fix a dangerous horse. Sam was through with love after a disastrous relationship. Sam fights his attraction to Mia. Is she worth risking his job to win her heart?
I am a sucker for a Cowboy romance. I was sucked into this book and didn't want it to end. This is the first book I have read by Soraya Lane and can't wait to read more!
